“This exhibition is a unique collection that was saved from the massive destruction of the Mongolian temples in 1928. This moving testimony of a culture threatened the meeting of the Tibetan Lamas with the first Mongolian Khans. It is the occasion to discover a colorful and sumptuous episode of Buddhist art”.
“The opulence and diversity of the representations and selected objects, relayed by a spectacular scenography respectful of their ritual dimension, ease to conceive how the Lamas became the leaders of Tibet, and how the Mongols converted to Buddhism”.
